How It Works:
Tweetbucks works by shortening long URLs and it allows you to make money with any Tweet you post, which is one advantage it has over RevTwt. The Tweet must contain a link to some other website, so it could be about an article you like, or a site you want to recommend to your followers, or some breaking news story, or whatever you think will appeal to people and generate a lot of clicks. To make money with Tweetbucks, you simply copy the link of the site you want to refer people to and paste it into Tweetbucks and click "shorten." It will then generate some URL that looks nothing like the original one you pasted, but it will still link to the same site and it will be much shorter. This is nice because it will not take up as many characters in your Tweet. You then go to Twitter, write a Tweet recommending your site, and paste in the shortened link you got from Tweetbucks. Each time someone clicks on the link, you get paid a small amount.
How Much Money Can You Make With Tweetbucks?
For each click you get, Tweetbucks will pay you a couple cents, much like RevTwt. It doesn't seem like much, but if you post a lot of Tweets each day and link to some cool sites that people are interested in, the clicks can really add up. This can be especially effective if you have a lot of followers, just like the other ways to make money with Twitter. Also, just like RevTwt, Tweetbucks has a pretty generous referral program that allows you to make money off of every person you refer to Tweetbucks for six months after they sign up. So if you have a blog or website, you can post banners and links to Tweetbucks and refer a lot of people and earn from their earnings.
Personally, I have been pretty successful at making money with Tweetbucks. My strategy is to post links to breaking news stories and other interesting sites using highly persuasive wording in my Tweets. This works well most of the time and I am often able to get about 20-30 clicks per link that I post. Tweetbucks also has a program that works similar to affiliate marketing that allows you to Tweet about a product or service from one of its many partner companies. Every time someone clicks the link you post and buys a product, you are able to earn a generous commission. In this way, Tweetbucks sort of combines the advertising income of RevTwt with the commission earnings of an affiliate network, creating a very effective program that can really allow you to make a lot of money with Twitter.
